Aakrati Gupta [ PGDM - HR ] HR Adviser, AeroSoft Corp.

Writing a blog is much of a new experience for me. So here I am, finally diving into the vast ocean of BLOGGING…………

To begin with, I am a girl born with vision, seeing beyond the humdrum to catch the slight difference that can make all the difference in a person’s life.

I am an enthusiast, a hardworking, practical, interactive and an extremely meticulous girl. I am courageous rather a ‘worrier’, once into something I don’t let it go so easily until I succeed. Patience and perseverance are my MANTRA of life. I have a penchant (strong inclination) for details. I am at times pragmatic and apprehensive. Modesty and diligence is something that I proudly possess. I am analytical about things and a big time perfectionist.

I am a girl who loves challenges, I am a nature lover. I love exploring every avenue of life and get the most out of it. I like to play Badminton & I am too much found of reading books and novels, articles. My favorite pass time is sketching and, surfing net and interacting with people in social networking sites.

As far as my educational background is concerned, Hindi has been the medium of my education till graduation. I have passed my 10th and 12th from MP Board in the year of 2002 and 2004 respectively. I pursued my Bachelor’s in commerce and computer application.  I had worked as an Accountant as well as front desk executive in “CAREER ACADEMY” simultaneously while pursuing my Bachelor’s degree, for the period of 6 months. I continued working there as a Personnel Administration Officer on my 2nd and 3rd year of graduation for 2 years. I graduated in the year of 2007. I have always been into extracurricular activities during my school and college days:-

  • Active participation in sports events at District & State level (Badminton) from 2002 till 2007.
  • Appointed member of the commerce council of the college student union in 2004-05.
  • Certificate course in Computer Accountancy Package (Tally 5.4) with grade “A” in 2006.
  • Project Report on Computer Fundamental & Introduction of DBMS in 2007.
  •  Certification in Office Automation & Internet (COA) with grade “A” in 2007.

Life was much of struggle during the time leap I had taken to prepare myself to get into the field of MBA. I had to face lot of problems regarding English language. In the beginning I felt like fish out of water, in this world which is always going around its business and where everybody is scurrying around like busy ants. But later I proved to be a dark horse, and it was all because of my perseverance. I appeared for most of the Aptitude tests at National level in the year of 2007.

Finally I enrolled myself in Sinhgad Institute of Management, Vadgaon (SIOM), Pune- Maharastra in the year of 2008 for PGDM (HR) AICTE+PGDM (MKT) AUTONOMOUS. I always had a strong inclination toward being a “'Jack of all trades'”. So I acted upon it, while pursuing my PG. I actively participated in extracurricular activity viz; Debates, PPT Presentations, Paper presentations, Case studies, Fashion Shows and Volunteered for the annual College Fest (KARANDAK).
I have done courses in the following:
  • Certification Course in Financial Account (CCFA) with grade “A” in 2008.
  • Active participation in WOW (Window of World) Competition & stood third in the overall college level in 2008.
  • Certification of language Competence (PTCLC) from PT Education in 2008.
I have also done two internships namely:-

Winter Internship (1 Month):
Management Trainee
  • Name of Company      :  Future Group (Big Bazaar) Indore (MP)
  • Project Title               :  Human Resource Management in an Organization
  • Scope of the Project   :  Employee Recruitment, Training & maintenance of attendance record.

Summer Internship (2 month):
Management Trainee
  • Name of Company      :  Heidelberg India Private LTD. Damoh  (MP)
  • Project Title               :  Personnel management and recruitment policies in Heidelberg.
  • Scope of the Project  :  Employee Recruitment, Training & development.

Two years of Post Graduation have been the toughest phase of my life. Meeting people from different sorts of backgrounds and of different nature was a new experience for me. Handling and communicating with these people was not an easy job. On the other hand the schedule was so hectic that I could not give time to myself. But as the time passed, I managed to mould myself into the environment. These two years of my life are etched vividly in my memory. As the college life was coming to an end I was inquisitive about my new life, a new job and my first step into a new world. At the same time the feeling of departing from friends and loved ones was getting me nostalgic. The days of my Post gradation has taught me a lot and I value these experiences.
I always wanted to work as an HR Manager in an IT industry. This was my goal ever since I was in 10th Std. But due to recession I planned to work in a non IT sector and ‘wait for my calling’.

Chaitanya Placement (Manpower Placement), Pune (M.H.)
Job Profile: Recruitment Officer
                   : Jan ’10 – June ’1o
I resigned from Chaitanya Placements because I was not able to focus on my ultimate goal that is working in an IT industry. So here I am waiting for the time to be ripe and henceforth make my career in IT sector.
I have always been and will be interested in establishing my career in core HR. I love to solve the issues or case studies related to industrial relation as well as human resource. I always judge a situation, by assuming myself in the situation first and then giving a verdict on it.

I love solving problems related to people and solving disputes as well. I am an empathetic listener. I would love to share my experiences and innovative thoughts, rather in a practical sense and not in the same old bookish language, for it to be easily understood by every being.I will be commencing my blog with the knowledge I posses in HR, keeping in view the current trends in the subject. The bottom line of my blogs would be, to provide solutions and answer the questions of all you bloggers there.

Once and for all live a joyous life.

With regards,

  1. Hi Aakrati, I am Avinash Jha. From some unknown source I got link of ur blog on my e-mail ID. It is very good that u have thought of doing something different in the HR field. Even I have completed my MBA in HR in 2010 from amity business school, noida. Before joining MBA I worked in the field of HR for 2 and half years. After completing my MBA the biggest confusion with me was whether I go for the jobs I am getting or should I listen to my "Intuition" of starting some thing of my own in the field of HR. After 2-3 months of R&D I finally went with my Intuition and grabbed a very good opportunity of taking franchisee of a well know HR Outsourcing company named Laurent & Benon. L&B has it's corporate office at Gurgaon and regional offices at Mumbai, Pune, Banglore, New Delhi and Ahmadabad. They have come up with a very good model of giving or say opening franchisee in each and every state of INDIA. In the same model I have taken franchisee for Western Utter Pradesh. Through this I will be working on behalf of L&B in entire Western U.P. The activities in which L&B is involved are - Recruitment, Campus Recruitment, Training & Development, Life Skill training, Corporate Training, Soft Skill training, Payroll Outsourcing etc. I am planing to take franchisee of other states(which are still to be taken) as well in near future, such as M.P, Utrakhand,Himachal, Bihar, Jharkhand.

The point I wanted to convey to u is that since even you have started something in the same field but activities are different, we can interact together and can see how we can be helpful and beneficial to each other. You can reply back on my e-mail ID mentioned below or can call on the provided number. Looking forward for your reply.
